Welcome to the 2018 Desai Invitational, the second most prestigious international soccer-related competition taking place this summer.
The team here at the Invitational is not making any modifications to the tournament format. Partly, because it worked well enough last time around, but mostly because I didn’t decide to do this until two days ago.
If you don’t care about what’s under the hood, go ahead and click on Group Stage Picks, select your eight teams, and remember to pick your bonus teams when we’re ready for the knockout stage.

As usual, you are welcome to invite others to participate. I understand this undercuts the old-time prestige of using “invitational” as a noun, but we want to let anyone participate.
